This is a wonderful, vintage, and very hard to find glass cabachon charm LOCKET!, reverse carved and hand painted in West Germany. It is a reverse carved and painted Pink Flamingo with a gold palm tree and the flamingo is standing on golden sand! The background in a beautiful ebony black. This is a beautiful and stunning old cabachon and the pink, black and gold are stricking together. The Pink Flamingo in this piece is a beautiful soft coral pink and is standing on golden sand with marsh grass. This cabachon is over 50 years old. It is a reverse carved and painted intaglio and is an 18mm round glass cabachon. It is in mint condition, very clear painted flamingo and palm tree and the covering glass is pristine. There are no scratches, breaks, discolorations or damage of any kind. The charm displays excellent workmanship, the kind not seen anymore. Each one has been individually and tediously carved and hand painted. This is a truly beautiful pendant and is quite a conversation piece when worn. It is perfect for the beach or bird lover, something vintage and unusual, and something you don't see much of anymore. The cab is mounted in a gold colored vintage brass locket, which opens to reveal spaces for two photos. There is pretty, engraved scroll work around the outside edge of the locket.
