Welcome to The Cat Girl Vinyl Sale! Over the coming weeks, we will be selling some rare and amazing titles on vinyl, so do please check back regularly. On offer here is this Early Press UK vinyl LP from Pink Floyd entitled 'Animals'. Sleeve Condition - Excellent Vinyl Condition - Excellent Matrix Number - Side 1: A5 Side 2: B6 All gradings are in accordance with the Record Collector Grading System which you can have a look at below. This original UK LP on the EMI label is an early press - it has the early press matrixes and the original lyric black inner sleeve that is also in Excellent condition. The original gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition - it has a very minor bit of scuffing on each of the spine corners caused by shelf wear. The inside of the gatefold is in excellent condition. There are no stains, marks or writing on this sleeve. I doubt you will see many better sleeves than this. The original lyric inner sleeve is in Excellent condition. No splits, rips, tears or writing at all, just one very small crease. The record itself must grade as Excellent condition. There is a scuff mark on each side that does not affect play. The run-in grooves on each side have a small bit of crackle before the music starts and subsides once the track commences. From there, the LP plays through perfectly with no real loss of sound quality; it's not mint, but it is not far off. The labels are in Excellent condition, just some very light spindle marks on both sides with no stains, marks or writing. A very presentable vinyl copy of this classic album that is very collectable - please have a look at my photos for further evidence. UK Postage is £2.70 - First Class Mail. Thanks for looking! RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM: MINT : The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. EXCELLENT : The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. VERY GOOD : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD : The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. FAIR : The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced. POOR : The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. BAD : The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler. As well as the above grades, Near Mint is often used as well; this is really for a record that appears new but is known to have been played because the label has light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner and is assumed to have been played by them.
