I got these a couple weeks ago at an estate sale. First I'm going to tell you about the house. Built in the 60's it had never been changed or updated! Could make it ugly, but no, it was cool! Meticulously maintained-even had its original carpet. T was a fabulous 3 piece table set from the 60's-amoeba shaped coffe table, corner end table with two levels and a regular end table. The amazing thing? No dings, scratches, glass rings-nothing! They must not have had any kids and were very careful when vacuuming. So now back to these fab snack sets. My sister and I have both collected snack sets over the years, not avidly, but we amassed quite a few. Neither of us had ever seen this gorgeous pale pink opaque glass! After I grabbed them about 5 or 6 other people commented on the same thing. One woman offered to buy them from me! T are no markings I can find and no boxes either. The design reminds me of a snowflake but I think it may be stylized wheat shafts or even a feather design.This is glass and the color is so pretty-like the inside of a shell in the pale pink color-when I was washing them I noticed you could see ( just barely on some)some of the color swirls or marbling when they were made. T are 7 cups measuring 2 3/4" tall and 8 plates measuring 7 3/4". One of the plates has a tiny chip-it actually may be a manufacturing blip-it is
