This pice has some beautiful pinkish coloring. It seems to be a softer type of rock, I was told it could be jasper but I really do not know. It weighs a little over 8 pounds 11 ounces and measures approximately 9 3/4" long 9" wide 4 3/4" thick this is my best approximation. I really don't know a lot about this piece but would be willing to take it to a jeweler and see if I can find out more if you are interested in this piece. It would be a very nice unusaul piece to add to your rock collection or to be the first piece to start a rock collection. It would also be a nice piece to to have for decorative purposes or for a conversation piece. It's definitely a must have piece. I took photo's with and without mineral oil on this piece for you to get a better look at the coloring of this piece. The photo's that show the piece on tin foil those are the photo's that shows the piece with mineral oil on it. Color may slightly differ due to my camera.
