The item up for auction is a Rare bronze figurine of Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket. This bronze figurine was produced exclusively for Walt Disney World by White Horse Studio. It is part of the Signature Series. Animator Ollie Johnston selected this scene from his work on the animated film "Pinocchio." Ollie then provided art direction to sculptor Bruce Lau. The title of this piece is "Give a Little Whistle." This bronze figurine is very heavy and weighs approximately 12 lbs. The wooden base measures approximately 8 inches by 9 1/4 inches. The bronze base of the figurine measures approximately 5 1/2 inches by 7 inches. Including the bases the whole figurine measures approximately 9 inches tall. On the back of the sculpture this information is given. It shows that the sculpture is #17/100. It gives the title which is Give a Little Whistle. Artist: Ollie Johnston Sculptor: Bruce Lau Disney USA 2000 T is a signature plate on the front of the wooden base of the sculpture. The plate shows a little wear around the edges. The plate says Signature Series at the top. Underneath that on the left side t is a Mickey head Icon for the Art of Disney. Next to that is Ollie Johnston's signature. To the right of the signature is a little caricature of Ollie Johnston. At the bottom of the plate it says The Art of Disney - Ollie Johnston Do not miss out on this very limited, very rare figurine. The sculpture and base are in excellent condition. Even though the signature plate shows a little wear, it does not take away from the beauty of the sculpture itself. Remember t were only 100 made!!!!! The sculpture comes with a certificate of authenticity and the original box. This item was proudly displayed in my home. My home is smoke and pet free.
