This is a very nice pipe rack. It is round and spins (lazy susan type). It has 12 spots for pipes and has a glass amber colored container with a wooden top to seal your tobacco in. The sticker on the bottom says "Decatur Industries Inc. Decatur, Indiana DECATUR tm Traditions in quality craftsmanship since 1943 Made in USA". This belongs to my father who tried pipe smoking for a short time in the late 80's. The pipe rack is in very good condition as he has had it sitting on a bookshelf since the late 80's. The tobacco jar measures just under 14 inches around. The bottom of the rack (the widest part) measures 30 inches around. I had this listed earlier as in perfect condition and had to cancel and relist this item. T is a approximately 1 inch diameter ceramic looking thing in the top of the lid that says "Aztec"...I think this is a humidifier (not sure as I know very little about pipes and such)...my boyfriend thought the thing was stuck in the lid by a magnet and tried to get it out (don't know why) and chipped the little round ceramic looking thing. I've included a picture of this chip.

It comes with 5 pipes, all used. One of the pipes, the one he most often used, has a Y with a circle around it on the side. One has "Darville real briar" on the side. One has "Imported Briar Italy" on the side. One has "Seville Imported Briar Italy" on the side. And the las one has "Lanza Made in Italy" on the side. The pipes are very nice with interesting carving. See picture.

This is a very nice set that has been well taken care of.

If you would like more pictures, please email me, I'll be happy to send you more.

I'll be listing a lot more over the coming weeks, so please check back often.

Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
