This auction is for a small Custom Made Damascus steel knife. It was made by myself, Phil (PJ) Ernest, in July, 2009. This is a brand new knife which has never been used. This Unique Custom fixed blade Knife is made of Rob Calcinore Mosaic Damascus Steel from end to end. The knife was heat colored to bring out the Beautiful Damascus pattern of this very high quality steel. The blade has been hardened and tempered to RC 58 - 60. The bolsters are made of Damascus steel also by Rob Calcinore . They were heat colored to bring out the intricate pattern of this extremely high quality material. The handle scales are made of High Quality Afzelia Burl. 24K gold plated screws were used to attach all parts. The cutting edges are 4 1/2 inches long on the bottom and 3 7/8 inches on the top. The total length of this knife is 8 1/2 inches long in a straight line. This is a Very solid, heavy knife. Included with this fine knife is a soft, padded zipper case. All of my knives are custom made from raw materials. I do not make kit knives. Some of my knives are offered for sale through more than one source. I reserve the right to end an auction early in the event they sell elsew I accept credit cards through PayPal only. Sorry.... No checks. Priority Mail shipping with insurance in the Continental United States is Free. Shipping charges outside of the United States will be actual charges.
