Very Important PLAINS CREE INDIAN SACRED MEDICINE ROCK BUNDLE circa 1880's-1900's from Northern Montana or Southern Canada. The Bundle consists of the following items: (1) Old childs Calico Bonnet (common in most Cree bundles) that holds the sacred rock (2)Round highly polished (patina rock) app. 3" by 3". Polished because of much use and placed on the altar of the Sun Dance Lodge (3) Buffalo Horn (very old) for Buffalo calling Ceremony (4)Part of Bone Whistles used in the Sun Dance Ceremony (5)Canvas bag containing Sweet Grass (used for buring to purify during the opening of the bundle) (6)Rare Beaded (pony) Band on Red cloth. Old pony beads and cut Hudson Bay Beads. Size is 9" by 3" in Very Good condition. Fossilized Beaver Castor wrapped in very old sinew (7) Old twined bag for carrying these items (8) long braid of sweet grass. Important Plains Cree bundle with great contents. Buyer pays shipping and handling of priority mail at $17.50 insurance will be quoted and we ship International.
