This is a Plains Indian Otter fur turban. The size is about 7 & 1/2 - 7 & 5/8. It is a full otter, tanned skin, with the tail that has been used as a drop. The fur is warm and luxurious. The turban is decorated with Abalone shell, brass bells, tin cones, feathers ( eagle feather not real), red tradecloth, ermine, elk leather rosettes, trade beads and seed beads and horse hair.
