STUDIO-PROPS APE SHIRT APE SHIRT is a cool piece of HOLLYWOOD memorabilia. This is a chimp armor shirt wardrobe item. This was custom made for and used during filming of the Tim Burton film released in 2001 "PLANET OF THE APES" This was designed and created by Colleen Atwood, the Academy Award winner in 2003 and 2006 for Best Costume Design. This is absolutely genuine, and screen used, and not a reproduction or copy. It comes with a signed certificate of authenticity from Studio-Props. We purchased this item directly from 20th Century Fox and have placed a copy of our receipt from Fox on the C.O.A. to prove it. This is a cool shirt. This is a chimp warrior armor shirt, but it is different from all of the others. It is a coarser weave and is thicker fabric than all of the others. I do not know the exact use of this item, but perhaps it was a prototype? It has some cool iridescent red paint added to lots of the high spots. Make it yours! NO RESERVE!!
