This is a complete ape outfit. This was custom made for and used during filming of the Tim Burton film released in 2001 "PLANET OF THE APES" This was designed and created by two time Academy Award winner Colleen Atwood (she won for Best Costume Design). This is absolutely genuine, and screen used, and not a reproduction or copy. It comes with a signed certificate of authenticity from Studio-Props. We purchased this item directly from 20th Century Fox and have placed a copy of our receipt from Fox on the C.O.A. to prove it. This is a ensemble worn by an ape of means. The pants are made of a nice red linen fabric. The pants are baggy tie on style (to hide the actor's human legs), the top is made of a gorgeous and soft Cotton and has a slot for your head, the shoes are leather.
