Studio -PROPS APE BOLO WOW! is an amazing piece of HOLLYWOOD memorabilia! This is a cool and lethal looking bolo weapon that was custom made for, and used during the filming of the Tim Burton film "PLANET OF THE APES". The design of this piece is quite interesting with the way it is made of woven leather and what appears to be three lead spiked balls, but what are actually made of soft foam. Please see more detail in the photos below. This is absolutely genuine, and screen used, and not a reproduction or copy. It comes with a signed certificate of authenticity from Studio-Props. We purchased this item directly from 20th Century Fox and have the documentation to prove it. Check out the photos below, and you will see what a great piece this is. It is made of what appears to be lead balls but what are actually foam rubber balls and woven leather and was obviously artfully hand made. This piece appears in a scene w the humans are making their escape through the ape encampment. Mark Wahlberg is riding a horse, and Michael Clark Duncan is in pursuit.
