An original Planters Peanuts Country Store Jar featuring the Running Peanut. Has the Running Peanut, with top hat falling off holding a cane running into a standing Mr. Peanut with hat and cane, on both sides of the Barrel shaped/designed Jar. It is glass and the "barrel and lid" are original to each other, not a marriage. Ate many a peanut out of the jar, time to let someone else enjoy. The lid has the beautiful peanut finial and around the lid does say "PLANTERS" twice. On the bottom says "MADE IN USA". The diameter is 8 1/4, height of the jar only is about 10 1/4, adding the lid with the peanut finial makes the overall height to about 12 1/2. Bottom has the imperfections from the way glass was made years ago. The only item missing is the red banner that went around twice saying "PLANTERS". I feel that this jar never had the red banner, but that is your call if you choose to bid. Have not done the calculation for shipping. Will have it in a couple of days. Saw a twin to this listed at just under $900. I will be placing mine at a little less. Until I calculate my shipping, email for a specific price for your city/zip code.
