PLASTICVILLE.doc PLASTICVILLE "O" SCALE SHOPPING UNIT #SU-5,1952/53 In 1952 Bachmann would change the SU-4 in this Unit by replacing the CC-8 Country Church with a Diner and adding the PD-3 Police Department. Other additions included the Traffic Signal, Fire Alarm Box, Fire Hydrant, and Mail Box to the inventory of this unit. (The info above attributed to Tandem Associates web site) This Plasticville Shopping Unit #SU-5 set is in its original box, which is in VERY GOOD condition with no breaks, smashing, or tears except on 2 corners. The box is not pristine as it has some spotting, but it is intact and sturdy with a couple minor edges of the paper coming unglued from the cardboard. However ALL lithography is intact and not missing. The set is mostly complete and all parts included are in EXCELLENT condition. Here is a list of the parts: The Gas Station is complete.The Fire House is complete (not sure if the set originally included 2 fire trucks)The Diner is complete.The Super Market is complete.The Police Station is complete, minus the antenna base.Accessories include: 1 street name sign, 1 traffic signal, 1 boulevard light, fire hydrant, fire alarm box, and mail box.ISSUES: Missing Police Station antenna base.
