1953 C. Plath Sextant / 33484 Micrometer Manufactured in Hamburg, Germany This was my grandfather's sextant. It is pristine. Everything is in excellent condition. The wood box, the sextant, the certificate, brush, tool, extra lens, mirrors, shades, brass, controls, etc., are "Collector's Quality".. The camera I used to take the pictures does not do this sextant justice. The number/serial: 33484. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask. I can take and send more pictures if you like. , a trader in sextants, has already offerred me $450. It must be worth substantially more for him to be able to sell it for profit.
