I bought this stunning engagement ring for my former, future wife and I regret selling it but I can not give it to another. It appears to be a very large stone due to it's setting and it's amazing brilliance when it captures light. The appraisal was done in mid-2005 and I understand the value should be more as precious metal and gemstones cost has increased, but I'm not sure. Ring was taken to professional in downtown Charleston, SC and had one prong adjusted to ensure a tight setting. This ring glitters and sparkles due to the way the diamond was cut. It's unique style makes most other rings seem bland in my opinion. I wish I could have made better pictures. She will not be disappointed! Details Center diamond(VS2 clarity, k color) estimated .80 carats on 6 prong platinum illusion head 2 smaller mine cut diamonds (VS2-SI1 clarity, G-H color) are set on either side with 4 sapphires top of ring features hand engraved leaf design total ring weight is 2.5 DWT (3.9 grams) Ring finger size ***6.5*** Please e-mail with any questions.
