The Akro Agate Company started production in Ohio circa 1910, then moved to West Virginia in 1914. They produced a wonderful collection of dishes for children out of slag and glass in the depression glassware era of the 1930s and 1940s. They ceased production in 1951. These vintage tea sets are a wonderful treasure. Play-Time Glass Dish Set , #132, this set is EXTREMELY RARE! I HAVE YET TO SEE A BLUE SET LIKE THIS!! 2 Blue plates, 2 white tops, 1 large blue cup, and 4 smaller blue cups. I believe one of the cups is an extra... not sure w it came from, but you get it too! This set comes in it's original box and the dish set is displayed in the original cardboard liner. The liner does have some tears, but still displays well. The box itself is in sturdy condition and the graphics are vibrant. One of the cups has minor damage on the inside. All the other pieces are in pretty good condition.INSURANCE IS REQUIRED ON THIS AUCTION! THANKS MUCH FOR LOOKING AND GOOD LUCK! Updated with new pictures. If more pictures are needed just let me know and I will get them up same-day. The set I am selling actually has 8 slots. One extra is included.Do not miss out on a great deal!!Thanks much everyone!
