PLAYBOY - Marilyn Monroe – Mint Condition VOL. 1, NO. 1 DECEMBER 1953 ISSUE (LIMITED EDITION REPRINT) MARILYN MONROE IN HER FAMOUS PLAYBOY DEBUT This is an exact reprinting of the entire December 1953 Volume 1 Issue 1 Playboy Magazine. This issue was printed in 2007 when PLAYBOY Enterprises decided to satisfy requests from PLAYBOY fans across the board. The response was an almost exact reprint of the iconic 1953 issue. This is one of only 20,000 printed, and it's an exact replica of Vol. 1 No. 1. Two minor differences identify it as a reprinted issue: It has a three-staple binding unlike the original two staples back in ’53 .
