You are bidding on a beautiful lot of Pleasant Company Our New Baby items. Our New Baby was the precursor to Bitty Baby, and all items in this lot were made for Our New Baby. These dolls were either male or female, unlike the later Bitty Baby dolls. You get: 2 Our New Baby dolls in used, excellent, clean condition - their heads show minor wear (no white marks) 1 red striped overalls outfit for boys - the new white shirt is a replacement and not American Girl or Pleasant Company (this high-quality hand-crafted shirt can be found at a reasonable price in eBay store "Doll Clothes by Peg" - seller IRIS4179) - the boys' outfits are hard to find 1 red striped dress with matching bloomers for girls - both items beautiful 2 sleep onesies and matching snap shirts - 1 onesie has a spot on the side, which would probably come out 1 diaper bag with powder and lotion containers and adorable towel set 1 Moses basket with full set of bedding (mattress, blanket, pillow, and bumper) - there are breaks in the bottom which do not show for display - musical heart is not there - overall very clean 1 book with tabs - has been used, but is in very nice condition Beautiful clean lot for the collector. ~ POLICY & FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ~ READ THOROUGHLY BEFORE BIDDING!! I use the most cost-effective methods offered by the USPS for shipping, sometimes with a small handling fee for my time, materials, and careful packaging. Your item will likely arrive in a recycled box, using recycled packaging materials. I am happy to combine shipping. I ship Parcel Post , First Class, and Media Mail. If Priority is cheapest, I choose Priority. While Parcel Post may take a few days longer, the difference between Priority and Parcel Post can range from a few pennies to $25. With eBay’s new policy which does not allow sellers to stipulate an insurance charge on auctions, insurance is included in the shipping and handling charges on all items over $25, as is delivery confirmation. I typically do not offer free shipping. In order to do that, I have to raise the price of the item, and I have to pay more eBay/PayPal fees, which currently run up to 15% of the price of the item. Insurance eBay is telling buyers they don’t need insurance on their purchases, since the seller is responsible for seeing that purchases arrive to buyers. eBay actually states in their policy that “We (eBay) don’t offer an insurance program.” Nor do I. I purchase the insurance from the Post Office, which protects both the seller and me. Since eBay doesn’t sell my items, and only collects fees, it would seem that it is my choice to offer insurance to sellers. As a seller, eBay helps me very little and offers me almost no protection. eBay feels asking for insurance is making buyers feel they need protection. THEY DO! eBay is now offering BUYER PROTECTION! This is a form of insurance. Insurance is a safeguard that is often mandatory – homeowner’s insurance (if you have a mortgage), auto insurance, health care insurance (hopefully soon), etc. If something I ship is lost or broken, I can’t afford to take the loss or have someone recoup their money via eBay of PayPal. As a responsible adult who has been using the USPS for over 4 decades as a way to ship items, the eBay mentality is totally lost on me. Insurance will be included in the shipping/handling cost on all items over $25. If you have a problem with your item (damaged, broken, lost, etc.), it is your responsibility to file a claim with the USPS.
