RETIRED AMERICAN GIRL - Pleasant Company (pre-Mattel) Samantha in original box! This is a like new condition collection of increasingly very hard to find American Girl item. You will receive the following: The original Retired Samantha Doll in her original packaging and box. She is gorgeous and comes with a like new complete outfit. When the American Girl dolls were first produced in 1986, they were made with white bodies then changed to tan bodies. Pleasant Company was founded in 1986, and for the first 4 years the dolls were made with a white muslin body. This is how you can figure out the age of your doll, as these white body dolls were only made in 1986, 1987, 1988 and 1989. A darker tan material was used around this time to accomodate the lower neckline of Felicity's clothing. The auction is for a like new vintage Pleasant Company American Girl and birthday party outfit complete, like new in the original box . The condition is like new vintage Pleasant Company items . Excellent like new condition and would make excellent Holiday gift for collector or some lucky girl. Adult owned Collector and not played with or displayed. Only ship to US only.
