Gorgeous White Body Molly doll from the American Girl Historical doll Collection. This is the earliest version of Molly made by the Pleasant Company characterized by the white muslin cloth body. Later on the body was made using peach colored cloth. I purchased this doll from the original owner and she was likely very gently played with. She stands 18 inches tall and Pleasant Company is stamped on her neck. Her vinyl arms and legs are clean and free from any flaws. They are the softer vinyl that is characteristic of the earliest American Girl Dolls. Her limbs are nice and snug. She stands on her own and easily holds a pose. There is a quarter sized water mark type stain on the back of the cloth body up near her left shoulder. Apart from that one water mark/stain there are NO stains, cuts, dings, chews, rips, tears, holes in either the cloth body or the vinyl parts. Her hair is in NOT the original braids. It does not have any cuts and is soft and shiny. Her gorgeous gray eyes have long soft curled lashes and open and close perfectly. There is no sign of silver eye and no funny or unpleasant smells. She has long strings at her neck. She comes with her wool meet skirt, argyle sweater, undies, socks and mary jane shoes. The skirt is tagged "Made in West Germany". The clothes are in clean played with condition. The sweater and skirt show read more
