Good Morning/Evening. First, I will not be able to answer questions,process Invoices or ship from April 10-16 as my computer will be In for repairs. Please see my previous Ploesti listings and my e-bay rating. What I am listing Is material from an Incomplete project that I started In 1991 and ended in 2000. I concentrated on another area of research that I was working on, the dropping of Atomic bombs in WWII. Please see my website I am listing a total of three (3) 8x10 photos. Only the first has been autographed. It Is an actual autograph of Julian Darlington, Pilot of "The Witch". Mr Darlington was a member of the 389th Bomb Group but was assigned to the 98th Bomb Group for the low level Ploesti Mission of August 1, 1943. I coresponded with Mr Darlington as well as met with him at two different Reunions. The photos taht you are looking at came from other 98th Veterans and would be almost Impossible to obtain or locate today. The photo that Mr Darlington has autographed was taken from the B24 "Nightmare", by Jerome Joswick, a photographe assigned to the 98th. If you look closely you can see the 24's (at least 7with one In the upper right corner has been hit and Is smoking) from the next wave over the Astro Romano target. Mr Darlington.
