Good Evening, Here Is an opportunity to hold a real piece of WWII History In your hands. I would like to start out by saying that I am an Historian, not an autograph reseller or one who tries to profit off our WWII Veterans blood and sweat. Between 1993 and 1998, I attended 3 Ploesti Reunions and corresponded with many Veterans of the 98th Bomb Group, "The Pyrimiders", the purpose of this was to preserve WWII history that was passing away. I shared ( gave away) much of the Information and photos I acquired to the Veterans, In return, they did autograph very few extra photos for me. I also Identify myself on my listings. What I am listing Is a very unusual 8 x 10 photograph. The original negative was loaned to me by 98th Veteran,Dan Mullen I had copies made at a professional photo lab 20 years ago,chemically reproduced from the negative on photo paper ( the best) . The photograph has been autographed by the Radio Operator of the B24 "Raunchy" of the 98th Bomb Group The autograph Is actual real, not a scan preprint or forgery and were obtained by me, the autograph Is handsigned on this photo. The B24 "Raunchy" was part of the first wave and was shot down over the target. Only Nick Allen, Gunner and Wm. Schiffmacher survived, captured and became POW"s.
