POCHER ALFA ROMEO KIT# K/78 1/8 SCALE MUSEUM QUALITY VINTAGE MODEL CAR KIT 1931 ALFA ROMEO 8C 2300 "MULETTO" This model is detailed with the utmost accuracy and precision. This kit is recommended for those with a high level of modeling skill. It is museum quality, made by the Pocher Company of Italy. Pocher was owned by the Rivarossi Company, which went out of business and was bought by Hornby of London in the year 2000. However, these kits have been out of production for many years, making them extremely valuable and increasingly rare collector's items. The only place to purchase these kits is from online collectors or at collector's rallies. This is the racing version of the Pocher Alfa Romeo kits. The kit contains 1450 parts, it is 19.69 inches in length, 8.66 inches wide, and 5.51 inches in height. This kit is noted for being one of the finest replicas Pocher produced. Many modelers feel that it can be enhanced by painting the metal spokes whatever body color the modeler chooses. It can be customized while retaining its authenticity far more readily than most of the other Pocher kits due to the fact that many racing versions were produced.
