I don't use this word lightly, but here is a RARE bottle. Yellow amber, coffin shaped, Poison bottle in the shape of a coffin, embossed F.A. Thompson & Co. Detroit. Embossed POISON on both end panels. This was a chemist in Detroit, Michigan. I have one in my collection with full labels, showing that it is from Michigan. Very rare bottle, KU-4 in Rudy Kuhn's Poison Bottle Workbook. I have seen these sell for $700 to $800. My starting bid is half that. Condition: Near Mint, NO chips, cracks or dings. No wear on this bottle, very clean. I grade this one a 9.5 on a scale of 1 to 10. I just don't grade anything a mint "10" unless it comes out of the box and was never used. Anyway, this is a nice one and in a lighter than normal color. One that would be hard to improve on unless you found a labeled example. SEE MY OTHER LOTS OF BOTTLES AND GOOD ITEMS ON EBAY PRESENTLY.
