Wow! I started collecting Pokemon cards 5 years ago for my oldest son and it got out of hand! Now, many thousands of sets and cards later, we need to clear out our basement! You need to know that I'm obsessive (ask my very forgiving wife) about this stuff, so every card we ever received was sorted and graded, and every rare, holo, promo, 1st edition or shadowless card was put directly into a soft sleeve. The lot you see is pulled from 23+ different sets, most of them long out of print and very collectible. 99% of these are never played and excellent, near mint or mint. The kids have enjoyed culling the cards to remove rough edges, faces, creases, etc. to leave only pristine cards. Looked at from the side, even the card edges are clean, bright and uniform! We put this lot together so it would have something for everyone - cards to make decks, cards to collect, rare & holo cards that are powerful but in pristine shape as well, out-of-print promos, 1st editions and shadowless cards, you name it! The most impressive thing about this lot is that t are NO DUPLICATE CARDS !! That's right, this auction is for 1,067 completely unique cards ! This is NOT a grab bag auction; EVERYTHING you see in the pictures and described below is included ! T are 931 unique cards from 23 different sets, including: >> Base, Jungle, Fossil, Rocket, Base 2, Gym Heroes, Gym Legends, Neo Genesis, Neo Discovery, Neo Revelation, Neo Destiny, Expedition, Aquapolis, Skyridge, Ruby/Sapphire, Sandstorm, Dragon, Team Magma Team Aqua, Hidden Legends, Fire Red/Leaf Green, Team Rocket Returns, Deoxys and Emerald! Included in the 931 are 80 cards from the first 6 Japanese sets as well (my kids like the Japanese cards for the novelty factor, I think). T are 136 rares, holos, reverse holos, shadowless, 1st edition, and promo cards , including: >> the ENTIRE 16 CARD BASE HOLO SET - the ENTIRE ORIGINAL set with ALAKAZAM, BLASTOISE, CHANSEY, CHARIZARD, CLEFAIRY, GYARADOS, HITMONCHAN, MACHAMP, MAGNETON, MEWTWO, NIDOKING, NINETALES, POLIWRATH, RAICHU, VENUSAUR and ZAPDOS ! (Note - some Base holos may be replaced by their Base 2 equivalents to make sure we could give you all 16!) >> 11 more holos from the first 4 expansions are included (see pictures!) >> the ENTIRE set of Base Set Non-holo RARES (ALL 16!) is included! >> 35 SHADOWLESS cards are included - rarer that Base Unlimited by an order of magnitude! >> 29 1ST EDITION cards are included! All out of print! >> 23 REVERSE HOLOS are included , from Dragon to Deoxys! Over 50 holos / reverse holos in all ! OUT OF PRINT PROMOS include PIKACHU #1, MEW & HOLO ENTEI (among others, see picture) Then, to top it all off, Promo MARILL in its original, MINT, untouched, unopened packaging! Unlike other sets you've seen or bought, these cards are clean, sorted, and well protected (no loose cards, rubber bands, etc., but sorted by set order and numerically within the set, then placed in team bags for safety! This will ship USPS Priority Mail, domestic or international. Insurance is offered but optional. Please note: shipping is actual USPS rate plus $4, which covers the cost of Ultra Pro soft sleeves and team bags used to protect the cards. T is no markup on these supplies, that's our cost.
