These auctions for polish pottery were all purchased by myself in Boleslawiec, Poland. We ask that all auctions are paid for as you win them. Payment should be made within 5 days of the auctions end (we prefer paypal) and all checks will be held until they clear. Just let us know when you pay and we will gladly hold anything you win, to combine with later auctions.
Description This auction is for a set of misc pieces of pottery, some are seconds or have "issues" so please read carefully as this is sold AS-IS. Over the coming weeks we will be putting together several of these sets. This lot includes the following Butter/Cream Cheese Dish in Green -This 2 piece set (lid & bottom) is perfect for both butter andcream cheese. The bottom of this dish has crazing throughout (this is a series of fine lines that are NOT cracks but usually caused when the firing temperature was too low. This is still perfectly ok to use and measures approx 7" x 5". Butter/Cream Cheese Dish in Blue - This 2 piece set (lid & bottom) is perfect for both butter and cream cheese. The bottom of this dish has crazing throughout (this is a series of fine lines that are NOT cracks but usually caused when the firing temperature was too low. This is still perfectly ok to use and measures approx 7" x 5". Two Dessert Bowls - These are first quality bowls that are just my last one, they are both unikat and measures approx 4 7/8" wide and 2" deep. Teacup & Saucer- This is a first quality set from the Zaklady Factory. The plate is approx 6 1/3" wide and the cup holds approx 8 oz. Mini Plate - This comes from the Ceramika Artystyczna Factory and has some small pitting on the front. Sugar Bowl - Has Crazing under the lid and a very small chip on the underside, unglazed part. Measures approx 3 1/4" tall. Santa Bell - This bell has a crack on the ringer inside but unless someone flips it over and inspects it closely, they will never know. ~ Measures approx 4 1/2" tall. Open Square canister - this does NOT have a lid however it has many uses still from pencil holder to flower pot. It is also a unikat (from the WR factory) and is also signed. Aside from not having a lid, it is a first quality piece. it measures approx 2 1/3" tall. Soap/Lotion Dispenser - This is a first quality piece from the Ceramika Arystyczna factory and measures approx 6" tall. Mug - This is a first quality piece from the Zaklady factory and holds approx 15 oz of liquid. Large Tureen - This piece is stunning as a show piece but it really would not be good for anything other than serving. I would not use it to cook. The lid does not fit properly and t is a chip on the underside of the item in the unglazed area. The underside of the lid also has crazing throughout. Shipping Shipping varies based on w you live. This box weighs 20 pounds and will be wrapped very well. |
