A classy & classic Elgin wristwatch from the early 1920's in original Elgin box. Art deco, polyangled in shape. A lovely contrasting combination of yellow & white gold. Fancily engraved bezel. Beautiful black Speidel leather band. The dial is multicolored, muted champagne & gray. Formal hours numbers. Hands & numbers are luminescent. The dial is worn but it's more of a patina of the years. It looks good on the watch . The movement is bright with lovely "cuvetted" capped 17 red ruby jewels. 37m/m lug to lug & 30m/m wide. It runs well & keeps good time, but please remember it's a 100 years old mechanical timepiece. A ... "What a gorgeous watch you are wearing" type watch. NO RESERVED.
