Offered: PONTIAC AUTOMOTIVE INDIAN HEAD CARVED WOOD FOUNDRY PATTERN or WALL PLAQUE. This foundry pattern or wall plaque is carved out of solid wood that I believe is mahogany. It is very well executed and may have been created my an experienced wood carver or pattern-maker as a master foundry pattern for creating limited edition castings or production foundry patterns. The image closely resembles that found on the traditional Indian Head copper pennies. It is in excellent original condition although the front is dusty and could stand a good cleaning. The rear side is cleaner. I attached the picture hanger bracket on it years ago so that I could put it up on my studio wall. The circular area measures 15" in diameter and the feather extends beyond the round frame 4 3/4". The wood carving weighs roughly 2 to 3 pounds. I will package this vintage wood carving very carefully after it is sold at my own expense to insure your new purchase arrives safely. Shipping and mandatory insurance will be determined at the end of the auction based upon the final sale price, shipping weight and your location. The shipping weight submitted with this listing is purely an estimate and the item will be weighed when it is packed. I prefer to ship by Fedex Ground Declared Value Insurance. I ship to the United States and Canada. Michigan residences must either pay 6 % Michigan State Sales Tax or present a photocopy of their current Michigan Sales Tax License. Thanks for looking at my offering and good luck bidding.
