This is a bronze Papal medal from my father's collection. It was struck in 1836 by the Mint of Rome for the Vatican. This medal is housed in a paper case which states, 'Papal Medal - AE- Gregory XVI- 25MM- Year VI - 1836 by Cerbara - Reverse: 12. Giugno 1836 Review of the Papal Troops.' The medal measures 22 mm x 1.5 mm. I am no expert, so you will have to judge the quality of the medal for yourself. I have many more Papal medals to list, so please stay tuned!
