Popeye The First Fifty Years by Bud Sagendorf was published by Workman Publishing/Kings Feature Syndicate in 1979. Hard cover, 144 full color pages printed on good quality paper. An in-depth history of Popeye and his legendary creator E.C. Segar celebrating Popeye's 50th birthday. Includes a cast of characters and a behind the scenes chapter as well as all things Popeye. Lavishly illustrated. The book and dust jacket are in very good condition with clean and crisp white pages. No dents or creases. Tightly bound. I am not a professional dealer and I try to describe the condition as best as possible with clear and sharp photos.
