Priced to sell, combined shipping of course This special pitcher was developed by combining several different design techniques used in the early years of Fenton Art Glass. It is made of French Opalescent glass with a spiral optic, bold floral decoration, and exciting Celeste Blue handle and edge. Optic pitchers in opalescent colors with contrasting colored handles were created in a variety of colors in the 1920's. Celeste Blue was not been offered in the Fenton line since the mid-20s. Designed by Martha Reynolds the hand painted poppy was inspired by a large enamel flower pattern designed circa 1910 by Frank L. Fenton, founder of the Company. Each work of art is signed by the decorating artist and inscribed with the signature of Bill Fenton and Frank M. Fenton. The inscription reads, "Fenton, 1905-1995, Celebrating our 90th Anniversary!"
