This is ABSOLUTELY one of the most GORGEOUS HAND PAINTED porcelain teapots that I have ever seen! It is SOOOO GORGEOUS and the detail is SUPERB! You can even see the veins in the leaves and flowers! The spout is a TULIP!! It has a FABULOUS 3 dimensional bearded iris, roses, tulips and other flowers and leaves too! The bearded iris flower stands out from the rest on the lid of the teapot"! T are also BEAUTIFUL 3 dimensional tulips and other flowers! They have GORGEOUS deep pastel colors of purple, lavendar, pink, yellow, orange, and blues. The leaves are several shades of green and t are little pastel flowers all around the base too! This is finished all over, front and back. The teapot has a basket design in a cream color and tan rope rim and rope base. It measures just under 8 3/4" tall and about 9 3/4" from spout to handle. It is about 6 1/2" deep. Has little rubber feet to protect your furniture! Excellent condition with no cracks, chips or scratches. The colors are deeper than the photos even show! Photos don't do it justice!! I ALSO HAVE AN ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS MATCHING PITCHER (or can be used as a vase or planter!) TO THIS WITH ROSES AND MORE IN MY OTHER AUCTIONS! Exceptionally cute!!
