This Auction is for the Porcelain Princess Diana of Wales Doll - she is 28 inches in height. Beautiful and elegant dark green velvet dress with hand held pocket book. Diana wearing "Green Velvet" This exquisite column of bottle-green velvet was originallydesigned by Cristina Stambolian in 1980 and sold to select boutiques in London. The Princess of Wales most likely purchased the gown from one of these boutiques, and it was worn in public several times. Doll is 28" tall made of porcelain, and has blue glass eyes. Australian doll artist Gwen McNeill collaborated with Collectible Concepts as well as 3 of Diana's dress designers to bring a set of 4 dressed dolls. -This is one of the 4. This doll is worth alot.
