This is an antique porcelain figurine. The most accurate description of it is: a Royal Vienna, Austria Horseman, purchased in Vienna, Austria. The dimensions are approximately 10 inches in height by 9 inches in length. It is in MINT condition. The exact writing on the base is: Picuurette-Spanische-Reitschule, in gold lettering. The other side states: Hofburg Wein, in gold lettering. The stamp states origin of: Augarten Wien Austria #36. The date of production is mid to late 1800's. Please contact with questions.
It has been brought to my attention that the item is more likely from the mid-1900's. Another number that I suspect is a production/serial number displayed on the bottom that has been stamped very discreetly into the porcelain is - 1668, if this helps any.
