This is a used but not abused pair of antique automobile auto vehicle license plates from Virginia. It is a low numbered pair - 4303. These are the genuine porcelain type, not the painted type that Virginia started using later on. They have been used, with some chipping near the bolt holes. One plate is really very nice, the other is also very presentable but has more chippiing on the upper left at the bolt hole, and going into the "3" at the top a little bit. The backs are fine, with about the same marks at the bolt holes as the fronts have. They are very glossy with no damage other than the chipping I already mentioned. The shadow at the left of the photo is caused by me and my camera, nothing to do with the plates themselves. These are getting harder to find in nice pairs. I only accept money orders, personal checks (will probably hold for ten days, depending on your feedback score), and PayPal. Not equipped to handle any credit cards by direct payment..
