A small oval shaped SIGNED Native American porcupine quill on birch bark basket from Manatoulin Island of Ontario Province of Canada. Item Description: This box was acquired about 20 years ago on a trip to Ontario province's Great Lakes region. It measures 3 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches oval and 2 inches tall and is in excellent condition and is signed "Irene Desmoulin," a famous basket weaver from Manatoulin Island on the Canadian side of Lake Huron.It has the usual sweetgrass wrap on the top rim and inside the rim of the bottom. T is one minor flaw seen in the last photo. Some of the quills have what may be described as chafing mark on the brown portion of 3 quills. Shipping & Handling: Shipping charges will be $6.00 for USPS Priority parcel post. Foreign buyers will be charged accordingly. Insurance mandatory and will be based on winning bid. Payment Info: Money orders, personal checks, Paypal accepted. Item will be shipped immediately upon receipt of money order/Paypal. Item will be held until personal check clears unless buyer has high feedback rating.
