we have the very RARE Pore Lil' Mose Comic produced by The New York Herald through Cupples & Leon.1902 A brilliant work by R F Outcault, the creator of Buster Brown The full name of the Comic is "Pore Lil' Mose His Letters to Mammy" Pages are large 10 1/2 x 15(over twice the size of a normal modern comic page) It is an extremely hard comic to find in one piece because the pages were so nice that collectors would take the entire book apart just for one page. Through the years I've been buying Pore Mose strips to complete a full comic. I've done that and have now decided to sell my extra Pore Mose Material I've seen single pages of this comic being sold for as high as $300 each. All of these pages came from the same book, but I have another auction of Pore Mose Pages which has 25 loose pages that came from many sources. Many of those mages are different than these so you may want to pick up both auctions. This Comic Book originally had 36 art pages plus an introduction page. (The Overstreet Guide says 78 pages which is misleading...the art pages are blank on the backsides. The Overstreet guide is counting the covers and all of the blanks sides as pages. The total # of Art Pages this comic came with is Definitely 36). So what I am offering in this auction is missing the covers, the intro page, and 9 of the art pages. This auction
