Julen 1995 Christmas Plate Christmas Tree "Juletreet" 1995 Christmas plate by Porsgrunds Porselæn of Porsgrunn, Norway. Hard-to-find plate both and in Norway. Very limited firing. Pictured is a young girl holding her cat, watching as the Christmas tree is being brought home on a moonlit evening. An attentive mouse looks on! All shades of cobalt blue bordered with holly boughs on very fine white feldspar porcelain. This attractive and very hard-to-find plate is the third of a limited five-year series by artist Thor Henning Kristiansen, of Porsgrund's Handverkstudio (Artists' Gallery).
