This portfolio is titled, "A Portfolio of Indian Painting By George Catlin," and includes 12 lithographs produced on heavy card stock. The front of the holder says "A Portfolio of indian paintings by George Catlin" and the bottom of the holder says "The Smithsonian Instutution, Washington D.C." Each Lithograph says "P65-11,George Catlin (1776-1872)". Than it tells the name of the individual in the photo, both english and old tribal language, which tribe,than the number like (Catlin Number 134). Than in the bottom right hand corner it says "The Smithsonian Institute Washington D.C." Below are the lithographs included in the portfolio, and also a little history of George Catlin, and his artwork. If you would like any additional photos or information please contact me, and i will send. The holder does have some small inperfections, but the photos are in perfect condition..
