Rare - Portmeirion Queen's Hidden Garden Dinner Plate This auction is for a very rare and difficult to find vintage Portmeirion Queenâe(tm)s Hidden Garden Dinner Plate that is now discontinued . This beautiful china plate has a white background with two types of pink flowers and green stems. The plate is flat but has a raised lip on the rim. The plate is 10½âe in diameter by 1½âe tall at the edge. It is in excellent condition with no chips or scratches. The bottom of the plate does have two tiny flaws on it. The bottom of the plate has the back stamp with blue and pink flowers. It reads Portmeirion Present, the Queenâe(tm)s Hidden Garden, by David Bellamy, printings by Marjorie Lyon, Designed by Shahrzad Forouzan, made in England. The plates were manufactured from 1983 to 2001 and are now discontinued. History of Portmeirion Bertram Clough Williams-Ellis,born at Gayton, Northamptonshire on 28 May the second son of the Rev.
