I acquired a very old patch collection of which this is one. A very unusual German 7th Tactical Fighter Squadron patch worn by USAFE crews during their rotation to Etain / Rouves, France and Spangdahlem, Germany from 1953 through 1962. They flew mostly F-100's at the time then F-105's at the end of their tour. Patch is in unworn - mint condition and is beautifully embroidered on twill. This patch has a look and feel all its own and measures in the 4" height range. A terrific Cold War piece that is guaranteed authentic to that time period. Please note, t is a small thread extension on the letter N, which can easily be trimmed. It is not a hole.
