( I opened a time capsule and found this one !!!)The rule is constructed of bamboo with celluloid overlay.POST - Hemmi "Made in Japan".Model #1460 - Serial number 701681 - Date code QB (Feb 1966)Physical size is 12 1/2" x 1 3/4"- w/ 23 scales. . .actual photos of listed item(see enlargements below)Slide and cursor move freely. Cursor is clear and unscratched.End plates are tight with a uniform patina.This version has the green Cos scale.The self-lubricating bamboo core assures that thisslide rule will operate smoothly for another 42 years. T are NO extraneous marks on the rule.(I would not be exaggerating if I state that this rule is UNUSED !!!) Included is the original cordovan leather case.Case has a plastic covered window under the flap for insertion of your info.Case has a belt loop, "D" ring and belt strap.Case has the POST and Versalog logos on the flap,belt loop also has the POST logo.In my opinion, the Versalog cases were the best of any available.
