SUEDE POSTCARD ALBUM CONTAINING 100+ VINTAGE CARDS !!! Victorian/Art Nouveau Era album MEASURING 7" X 17" of 112 Post Cards dating from 1908 up to 1925 with majority being 1908, 1909 and 1910. Most are posted and used and a few are not. These are pre- linen and pre-chrome cards. These do not have white borders. This is the first time these antique cards have been offered to the public and are from the private collection. The cards have always been kept in a dry environment! Most are addressed with personal messages on the backs. I am not a collector of post cards and know very little about them but I am sure some are considered rare. Please be sure to ask questions if my description is lacking in any area. Cards are mainly Christmas cards (some with early Santas!), Thanksgiving, Easter, New years, Birthday, and some couples (a few are a bit racy!) and people cards (before Valentines were common?). This collection has a good mix of cards with mostly colored cards and a very few black and white, sepia and a couple real photographs. Condition of the Album is fair with the spine coming apart, but with only a few struts broken that hold the cards in.
