This auction is for a Lionel Postwar Pennsylvania RR GP-7 frame in very nice condition. The color is Lionel's classic burnished gold semi-gloss a nd it is bright and shiny. This frame is solid with the just a few of the minor nicks and paint scrapes on bottom and some nicks on the railings. This Lionel's least common Type II frame with rivet holes drilled yet the catwalk railings are tack welded to the frame; no rivets used. The bottom is nice with just a few of the normal turning marks. I believe this may be a professional repaint as the brackets look fairly new and the rivets are nice and shiny. The top has some minor age related corrosion along the railings and also a few stains. The c atwalk and end railings are very straight with hardly a bend or bow. T his auction includes the lamp bracket, the e-unit bracket, the lamp contact, lamp wire, the correct R-91 spring and the screws to mount your cab assembly. This frame will make a welcome edition to any layout and would make an excellent candidate to dress up your favorite "runner".
