POSTWAR LIONEL No. 520, 0-4-2 BOX CAB ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVELOT DESCRIPTION: As the title says this lot consists of a POSTWAR LIONEL No. 520, 0-4-2 BOX CAB ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE. Made in the 1956-57 time period it comes with a three position e-unit, operating coupler on one end, fixed coupler on the other end, a three position e-unit which is all correct for the loco.DESCRIPTION OF CONDITION: Electric locomotive is in great shape, no cracks, breaks or chips. No rust or dents. The often broken off tabs that hold the one cab end to the frame are fine as is the screw hole on the other end. The color, lettering and numbers are all bright and clear. The frame looks fine, trucks, couplers and rollers in great shape. Pantograph too is fine. No real issues here at all, hardly a mark on the loco. Again, a great looking loco that IMHO I would rate it as in C-7 excellent plus (almost like new) condition but take a good look at the pictures and you be the judge.WORKING CONDITION: I have cleaned, lubed and tested the loco and it runs and reverses perfectly and the e-unit cycles fine.COMMENTS & QUESTIONS PLEASE READ!: If there is a problem, regardless of type, e-mail me and I will try and resolve it with you.
