This auction is for a Postwar Lionel O Gauge Aluminum Passenger Car Set. This was Lionels premium Aluminum Passenger set introduced in the 1950's....and this is an earlier release with the original hex nuts used on the car nameplates. All of the lights work. The listing consists of the following:No.2531 Silver Dawn Observation Car, Car is in nice shape, but underside was lightly spray with black..(there is no overspray or residual spots anywhere......can be seen in the 4th photo car at bottom.......rest of piece is in very nice shape. No.2532 Silver Range Astra Dome Car No.2533 Silver Cloud Pullman Car and, No.2534 Silver Bluff Pullman Car. Although not perfect, this is a very nice set of cars, excellent for a running layout, or as an addition to a postwar collection. Please look at the photos and bid accordingly.
