Unusual and Unsmoked freehand by Poul Winslow. This pipe was carved upside down, with the plateau on the bottom. The way it was carved it looks like the shape of the pipe was slowly emerging from the briar but was suddenly frozen in time. That's the best I can describe it, sorry. Look at the pictures! The pipe exhibits lovely straight grain, acheiving the B grade. He used acrylic on the bit and ferrule, giving the pipe a nice, decorative touch. Very interesting piece! Retails for $560.

Measures 6 1/4" long x 2 1/4" tall and weighs 3.5 oz or 99g.
