You're bidding on a truly unique and stunningly beautiful medal depicting on the obverse the portraits of the US presidents from Washington through Reagan. On the reverse the names of the presidents are listed in concentric circles. In the middle are some of the most significant American symbols: the US Capitol, the American Eagle and 50 Stars. It also shows the weight of the medal, "ONE POUND" (equal to about 14.6 troy ounces) and the metal purity, ".999 FINE SILVER". This is a limited edition medal - this one has the registration number 0110; it measures a huge 3.5" in diameter and it is about 5/16" thick. The medal is housed in an elegant and sturdy wooden case, probably made of walnut .
