You are invited to bid on this lovely studio pottery small jug, made by Martin Homer of Shropshire. The jug is a lovely rounded shape, with neat rounded spout and applied strap handle with attractive curlicue at the top. At the bottom of the handle is a charming relief moulded cherub's head with wings on either side - it looks like the style of decoration you would see in a medieval church. The jug is glazed with a matt powder blue glaze that is very attractive. The inside is glazed a glossy cream. The jug stands almost 3.5" tall. The base bears Homer's inscribed signature. The jug has never been used and is in great condition with no cracks or chips. A lovely piece of studio pottery, and a fine addition to your collection.
